Pre-Training with Bryan Visintin
FREE Yoga/Stretch Training on the four Saturdays before the race. Dates are 6/8, 6/15, 6/22, & 6/29. Class will be held OUTSIDE this year on the 'Front Grass Area' (across from the Library) from 9am-10am. Afterward, I will jog the 5k course with anyone who wants to participate (same as last year) from 10am-10:30am. As a bonus this year, anyone who participates in the FREE yoga/stretch training, will also receive a FREE Spectrum day pass to assist in training for the Race, good for anytime!
The Yoga being taught is all level so anyone is welcome. It is Hatha based yoga meaning it focuses on breathing and poses. The class is designed to strengthen and stretch the body to improve running. Bring your own yoga mat or towel to practice on.
Bryan Visintin is a nationally recognized certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. He has over 12 years of experience working in fitness, of which the last 8 have been locally around the Palisades. The fourth of July is his favorite holiday and he participates in the run every year. This year he is honored to be more a part of it by helping the community prepare for this awesome and fun event.
