Course updates for USATF Certification
The Race Committee of the Palisades-Will Rogers 10K Run is pleased to announce that its historic course has been re-measured and is USATF Certified for the 35th Anniversary running on July 4, 2012. The coastal mountain road course is well known as one of the most scenic and challenging in Southern California, looping through beautiful Pacific Palisades neighborhoods, climbing the spectacular tree-lined switchbacks of Will Rogers State Historic Park and returning to finish at Palisades Park. Beginning this year, at about the 5 ½ mile point, the returning route on Sunset Blvd. from Will Rogers State Historic Park turns right at N. Chautauqua Bl., continues one block north to Drummond St., then follows Drummond St. west to Sunset for a right turn and the same flat and fast finish as in the past. The new route adds approximately 500 ft. of length and about 20 vertical feet of climbing, and has the added advantage of bypassing the traditional foot traffic at the 5K turnaround on Sunset Blvd. Come test your mettle on one of the West Coast’s premier courses, The Palisades-Will Rogers 10K Run

5K Race
Follows the same route as the 10k to... "SOUTH on Sunset" ...5k turns around on Sunset full block past Drummond and proceeds NORTH on Sunset back to Drummond; WEST on Drummond to Toyopa; NORTH on Toyopa to disbanding area (Palisades Recreation Center).
